Bulk vanilla buttercream mix is a must-have for commercial bakery, restaurant, and catering applications. The neutral white color is flecked with real vanilla bean for an authentic look as well as sweet vanilla flavor. This bulk crusting buttercream frosting mix is easily customized for any products by simply adding color, extract or flavor, or mix ins as desired. The gluten free, allergen free base preparation is ideal for creating customer-friendly desserts and better-for-you product offerings.

BASIC PREPARATION: Per 1.5 cup batch use:

  • 12 oz. Vanilla Frosting Mix
  • 10 TBSP unsalted butter at room temperature (for VEGAN prep option, use vegetable shortening, raw coconut oil, or soy butter)
  • 3 TBSP milk of choice (for VEGAN prep option, use vegan-friendly milk of choice)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Beat butter or vegan alternative with electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes.
  2. Add 12 oz. of Vanilla Frosting Mix and milk of choice. Beat on low speed until just incorporated then increase speed to medium and beat for an additional 2 minutes to ensure fluffy texture.
  3. Note: Make sure to add finishing decorations like sprinkles, nonpareils, or other edible decorations to frosted items before frosting sets to a crust.

FROSTING Amount needed for basic coverage (make extra if making frosting decorations or extra-thick frosting desired):

1.5 cups frosting will cover approximately:

  • (12) standard cupcakes
  • (24-36) mini cupcakes
  • (6-12) jumbo cupcakes
  • (1-2) 6” round cake layers
  • (1) 8” round cake layers
  • (1) 9” round cake layers
