Description
Morel Mushrooms by OliveNation are dried premium wild mushrooms mainly found in the U.S. and India. Harvested between spring and summer, these gourmet mushrooms are machine dried. Our high quality Morel Mushrooms feature very small to no stems at all, leaving more of the "good" part of the mushroom.
Morel Mushrooms are excellent in wine and cream sauces for pasta, chicken, veal, and fish. They're also delicious in egg dishes, creamy soups, and other gourmet dishes. Nutty, earthy, and smoky, dried Morel Mushrooms have a more intense flavor than fresh. This product is gluten-free, non-GMO, and each morel is about 2 to 6 centimeters.
How to Store Dried Mushrooms
Heat and moisture are enemies of dried morels. To maintain freshness, place the dried mushrooms in a clean, tight-sealing plastic freezer bag and freeze or refrigerate. They should keep for 6 to 12 months. You can also store dried mushrooms in a glass or plastic container with tight-fitting lid. Keep container in a cool, dark place.
