Using Lemon Oil in Place of an Extract

Our lemon oil is perfect for any confectionery applications and cooking. It is 100% and does not contain any additives. Adding just a few drops of this oil to bread, cakes, muffins, pies, biscotti, and more can deliver excellent results. It is a highly concentrated oil, typically used by the drop. It is a great alternative for lemon extract because it is 3 - 4 times the strength of alcohol or water-based extracts.

When substituting lemon oil for extract, it is recommended to use 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon of oil in place of 1 teaspoon of extract. Remember to start with less, so you can add more if necessary.

This product does not contain any animal or dairy products, thus suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Storage

Do not refrigerate. Store it at room temperature and away from direct heat and sunlight. Keep the container tightly sealed in a well-ventilated area, free from odors.
