Our Lime Oil for baking, cooking, confectionery, and flavoring is three to four times the strength of water or alcohol-based flavors or extracts. This oil is highly concentrated and a little will go a long way. Our pure lime oil can be used in a wide variety of baking and confectionery applications, including chocolate making and candy making. Highly concentrated, this aromatic and flavorful ingredient should be used sparingly and with caution. In most baking applications a drop or two of lime oil is is sufficient to add bright citrus taste and aroma. We recommend that gloves and eye protection be used when handling lime or any other essential oils. Our Oil of Lime is 100% lime oil and contains no additives or dilutants. It is gluten free, sugar free, and is insoluble in water, making it a great choice for use in flavoring chocolates and coatings as well as baked goods, frostings, fillings, sauces, and marinades.
