Cabernet franc grape pomace powder is ground to a 100-mesh powder for superior dispersibility in liquids and fats, making it great for use in confectionery coating and fillings as well as beverages and frozen treats.

Ground grape seed powder, sometimes called Wine Flour, retains the fruity/herby flavor and deep plum color of the grape skins and seeds, creating an easy to use flavoring and natural food coloring that adds both nutritional value and texture to dishes. The naturally sweet ingredient contains no added sugars or preservatives and is easy to measure for use at scale for commercial as well as home use. This all-natural byproduct of the winemaking process is ideal for clean label and specialty diet food and beverage products as well as zero waste and sustainability programs for professional food and beverage production.

Uses for Wine Grape Seed Powder:

For baked goods, add 1 to 2 TBSP wine grape seed powder per cup of flour. For breads, add 1/4 to 1/2 cup wine grape seed powder per cup of flour. Adjust for more/less flavor, color, texture, or nutritional value as desired. Please note that powdered wine grape pomace should be used to supplement, not replace, regular flours in baked goods, and may require additional liquid for proper texture in recipes. For maximum retention of color and nutritional benefits, baking temperatures under 425° are recommended.
