Rose Flavoring for Baking - Delicate Floral Flavor for Cake, Frosting & Confectionery

  • Water Soluble Extract from Natural Flavors
  • Clear to Pale Yellow Liquid Flavor with Floral Taste & Aroma
  • Ideal for Turkish Delight, Love Cake & other Classic Mediterranean Confections
  • Kosher, Vegan

OliveNation rose extract offers a beautiful floral bouquet and flavor that perfectly complements wedding cakes, icing and confections. Add just a few drops to your recipe for an unmistakable rose flavor. This water soluble rose flavoring is one of the most highly regarded ingredients in flavors and fragrance. The use of roses for sauces or flavoring meats and rice-based dishes was very popular during the Renaissance. Due to its intense flavor, use our Rose Extract very sparingly. Add just a few drops to creme brulee, sugar cookies, tea, sauces, dressings, puddings, cakes and sorbet for an unmistakable rose flavor. Rose extract for baking is different from Rose Flower Water, which offers more delicate, less concentrated flavoring.

What is Rose Extract?

Rose Extract is just one of many natural extracts you can use to enhance your recipes. Extracts are concentrated flavoring agents that have been distilled from beans, nut oils, fruits, and spices, and other natural flavors that have been dissolved in an alcohol base. Extracts can be used to add flavor to candy, beverages, specialty dishes, baked goods, and desserts.

In order to get the best flavor possible from extracts, it's important to remember the following storage tips to prevent evaporation so that you can ensure that your extracts provide sensational flavor each and every time you use them.

  • Close the bottle tightly after each use.
  • Store your extracts in a cool, dark place.
How to Use Rose Extract
Extensively used in candy making and Mediterranean cooking, rose flavoring adds a very unique taste to pastries and desserts. This extract is a confectioners delight because it captures the delicate fragrance of roses into a clear, smooth flavor. Try it in ice cream, frosting, and other sweet recipes such as classic Turkish Delight and other confections.

    Rose Extract

Posted by Margaret on Jan 16th 2024

I purchased this to make Rose Lemonada that I have tasted in Mediterranean restaurants. This extract adds an exquisite touch to lemonade or tea or a combination of both. So easy to add a few drops of extract to your usual brewed tea or lemonade and surprise your tastebuds. I highly recommend it.

    Pure Rose Extract

This does not smell like "pure" rose at all. More like cotton candy. Do not waste your money.

    Rose Flavor Extract

Posted by Sharon on Aug 3rd 2022

Unfortunately, this product was a major disappointment. It hasn't one hint of rose about it. I agree with a previous reviewer that it's closer in taste to some sort of amaretto. I really can't identify what it is, but it sure isn't rose.
