Pure Orange Oil - Food Grade Orange Citrus Oil for Cooking, Baking & Confectionery

  • 100% Pure Concentrated Essential Orange Oil for Culinary Use
  • Cold-Pressed for Intense Fresh Orange Aroma & Taste
  • Perfect for Baked Goods, Cakes, Candy, Chocolates, Fudge, Frosting, Ice Cream
  • Sugar Free, Non-GMO, Gluten Free, Kosher, Vegan

OliveNation pure orange oil is cold-pressed from orange peels, creating a concentrated, pale orange liquid with potent sweet orange taste and aroma. This versatile, all natural citrus culinary flavoring is approximately 3 to 4 times stronger than an extract, making it ideal for scale use in clean label baking and beverage applications as well as home baking and cooking. Use our pure orange oil for cooking for adding or boosting flavor in a variety of bakery applications, including cakes, cookies, frosting, icing, and pie crusts. This potent extract alternative has a unique and refreshing smell as well as taste, making it a great choice for adding a distinct citrus twist to chocolate confections, truffle fillings, gummies, and hard candy. A few drops of pure orange oil for baking go a long way in flavoring sweet and savory dishes. Try it in pancake and cake batters, meat, fish, and chicken marinades and salad dressings as well as sauces, glazes, and drizzles for a burst of tangy citrus flavor.

Using Concentrated Pure Orange Oil for Cooking & Baking

Because this ingredient is so highly concentrated, you can substitute edible, food grade orange oil for extracts or zest in recipes using a fraction of the amount.

  • To substitute orange oil for grated zest or peel, start with 1/8 teaspoon per tablespoon of zest
  • To substitute for alcohol-based extracts, start with 1/4 teaspoon per teaspoon of extract
  • For confectionery applications, use 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per pound of chocolate couverture or coating chocolate

Storage: Do not refrigerate. Keep away from direct sunlight and store at room temperature. Remember to keep the product tightly sealed.

An Orange Grove in my Kitchen

Posted by DT on Mar 1st 2021

I purchased this orange oil after my sister gave me a recipe for granola that called for orange oil. She had found and purchased it here, and I had trouble finding edible orange oil online, so she gave me the link to OliveNation. I have only made one batch of granola so far, but I've also used it in cooked oatmeal and am thinking of other recipes I can work it into. A small amount makes the whole kitchen smell like an orange grove, and the food I make with it tastes divine.

    orange oil

Posted by JULIA HOLLINGSWORTH on Aug 22nd 2020

Tried it first in a small size and liked it so much that I went for the 32 oz. Very good quality and taste. I use it in my baking and even making coffee.

Good flavor initially but did not last

Posted by Susannah on Apr 12th 2019

After using a couple of the smaller sizes, I went ahead and bought the larger 32-oz bottle. Despite following all the storage and usage guidelines, it only lasted 6 months before the flavor disappeared and disturbing white sediment began to form on the bottom. It is supposed to last for 3 years. I don't know if it was a bad batch or what, but certainly it was not worth my money.
