Beet Red Natural Food Coloring for Low/No-Heat Applications
- Plant-Based Liquid Color from Beet Juice Concentrate
- Adds Red-Purple Hue to Foods without Using Artificial Dyes
- Will Not Add Taste or Aroma to Dishes
- Best for No-Bake Applications
Our Natural Food Coloring, Beet Red is made from beet juice concentrate to give foods a rich, vibrant hue without adding flavor or smell. This liquid food dye is a water-soluble ingredient best suited for cold or no-bake applications. Our all-natural red beet food coloring is ideal for adding a fuchsia-like hue to icing, frosting, buttercream, and decorating sugars. This ingredient is marvelous in cold applications such as ice cream or milk-based drinks such as shakes and smoothies. Because our water-soluble liquid beet red natural food coloring is plant-based, the final color is very sensitive to temperature during preparation and will fade significantly during high-heat applications such as baking. This plant-based food dye will be brighter in more acidic environments.
Usage: Use 1/2 to 3/4 of a percent based on total volume to start. Color will be most vibrant when total pH is in the 4-5 range.

NOTE: Our natural colors are most vibrant when used in food with a pH level of 4-5 or lower. The final color of any product will depend on the specific ingredients and application. Our natural food colorings are not recommended for high-heat applications.
