Ghost Pepper Powder by OliveNation is a blend of ground ghost chili peppers (bhut jolokia), ground peppercorns, and arbol chili powder, resulting in an extremely hot spice. Ghost peppers ((bhut jolokia) are potent and one of the hottest chiles on earth. Our Ghost Pepper Powder is for those who like their food very, very hot. It ranges 150,000 to 250,000 on the Scoville Heat Scale. For comparison, jalapenos are 2,500 to 5,000 on the same scale.
Since our Ghost Pepper Powder is a blend of three chile powders, it's more affordable than straight ghost chili powder, and it still packs a lot of heat. Ghost Pepper Powder is made in the USA, kosher, gluten-free, and non-GMO.
You can use our Ghost Pepper Blend as you would any other chili powder, but use caution as it is extremely hot. Add it to meat rubs. Kick up the heat in salsas. Add a dash to mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, or another creamy dish. Sprinkle it over sweet ripe fruit like pineapple or mango for a sweet, spicy snack.
Preparation
This spice is ready to use. Use a little at a time as it's very spicy. Avoid contact with eyes and skin, as it may cause irritation.

We (Bertha Mae's Brownie Co.) needed to find a substitute heat source for our Sweet & Spicy brownies as our old supplier went out of business. Olive Nation kindly sent a sample and we tested it in our brownies. It provides just the right amount of flavor and heat to punch up our brownies for those who want that spicy chocolate flavor.
