- Creates Yellow/Orange Shades in Icing, Frosting, Ice Creams & More

OliveNation Natural Food Coloring, Egg Shade (Annatto/Turmeric) combines the naturally bold colors found in turmeric and annatto to create a vibrant liquid dye. Perfect for decorating baked goods or adding a pop of color in savory dishes, this easy to measure colorant creates a wide range of hues. Use our egg shade food coloring in classic golden yellow Egg Bagels, to create sunshiney yolky color in illusion cakes, to boost or mimic saffron color, or for a bold yellowy-orange shade for popsicles, frosting, milkshakes, and creamy beverages. Because this liquid food dye is made using naturally-occurring color compounds, the water-soluble ingredient is best suited for cold or no-bake applications like ice cream, icing, frosting, buttercream, and decorating sugars. This plant-based food dye will be brighter in more acidic environments. Our yellow/orange egg shade food coloring is perfect for bulk use in commercial bakery, foodservice, and beverage manufacturing environments looking to create clean-label and BFY products using natural and plant-based ingredients.
Usage: Use 1/2 to 3/4 of a percent based on total volume to start. Color will be most vibrant when total pH is in the 4-5 range.
