    Apricot

    I just could not taste the apricot in this extract. What I did taste was almond. I will be using this in my almond cookies so it won't go to waste. Apricot is a very difficult extract to duplicate.

    Variety of extracts/emulsions

    Purchased apricot and several other fruit extracts to use during canning season. Olive Nation is the only site I've found peach, apple, apricot and assorted berries flavors. Shipping was quick and extracts arrived in perfect condition, as shipping box was heavily bubble-wrap packed. Have yet to use the extracts, but they all passed the "sniff" test! Highly recommend if you are in need of hard-to-find flavors...price is cheaper than Amazon, too, if you can find the desired flavor.

    My advice to anyone brewing an apricot flavored beer: skip the purée. Just use about 4oz of this extract after fermentation. Stir into wort gently, then bottle condition or keg. If you like an apricot flavored beer, you’ll love this.
