Directions for classic Crème Brûlée:
- 8 oz. (226g) Base Mix Powder
- 1 qt. (907g) Half & Half
- 1 qt. (907g) Heavy Cream
Mix the Crème Brulee powder with 1/2 quart of half and half. In pan combine the other 1/2 of the half & half and heavy cream. Bring to a boil. Whisk the powder mixture into the hot liquid. (It is important to add the powder while keeping the liquid on the heat). Return to a boil for a minute, stirring constantly. Pour the mixture into serving dishes and refrigerate for a minimum of two (2) hours. The mixture will set while cooling. Yields approximately 8 servings.

Crème brûlée Desert Just Like the Chef...
Simple, Fast, No Guess Work, AND perfect results every time. The hardest part is learning to caramelize the fine sugar topping but purchased a small kitchen butane hand torch and it worked perfect. Now having fun creating many different kinds of flavored Crème brûlée. If you like Crème brûlée, it doesn't get any easier or tastier than this. Bon Appétit.
