Dried Wiri Wiri Pepper adds Flavorful Heat to Cooked Dishes, Beverages, Seasoning Rubs

  • 100% Natural Dried Whole Wiri Berries with Seeds
  • Very Hot - Similar Heat to Habanero Peppers
  • Ideal for Seasoning Rubs, Flavored Oils, Chili, Soups
  • Non-GMO,

OliveNation Wiri Wiri Chiles are small, round dried peppers complete with seeds. Also known as hot or bird cherry pepper, wiri berries are members of the capiscum freutescens species and are native to Guyana. These small round chiles have a Scoville heat rating of 100,000 to 150,000 (for comparison, jalapeno peppers range from 3,000 to 8,000 on the Scoville scale). Our dried wiri wiri pepper for spicy rubs, baking, cooking, and beverages is very hot and provides approximately the same heat as a habanero. Crush this versatile ingredient for use in hot and spicy marinades, spice rubs, flavored oils, and seasoning blends, or pop them whole into chili or soups for a burst of flavorful heat. Bulk dried wiri wiri pepper is great for restaurants, mix manufacturing, and foodservice applications, as a little will go a long way. The small size and strong hot flavor of these dried whole chiles is also ideal for brewery and distillery, and beverage use in adding hot, spicy notes to beers, wines, whisky, and RTD drinks.
