    Not great

Posted by Essence Walker on Jun 23rd 2018

This isn't the worst passion fruit flavor on earth but it certainly wasn't good. Reminiscent of Froot Loops at best, took me awhile to put my finger on it. tastes chemical; I stopped using it for food and tried it for homemade toothpaste and could only stomach a single batch. I'm just not a fan of chemical tastes

    Xanthan Gum

I didn't like the addition of Xanthan gum to this, it didn't dissolve well in cold liquid.

    Pretty good

Posted by Peter on Apr 19th 2016

I bought this to make flavored carbonated water with a keg system. My goal was to make something like la croix passion fruit but on tap and at a fraction of the cost. This flavoring is very fragrant, so much though that it smells stronger than it tastes. It smells very sweet, almost floral but the taste is a bit more reserved. I'd bet this flavoring would bake well if that's what you're going for. The flavored water turned out very well. I used about 75mL (~2.5 fluid oz) for about 19 Liters of water (5 gal) carbonated at 40psi. Tasted very similar to the lacroix cans. Will definitely be purchasing again.
