Description
Baharat Spice
Translated simply as 'spice'? in Arabic, Baharat is a slightly spicy, full-flavored blend, making it a distinctive feature of Middle Eastern cuisine. This spice mix is hand-blended, mixing sweetspices such as cinnamon, cumin, coriander, cardamom, nutmeg and cloves, with fiercer spices such as black peppercorns and paprika. Baharat, which has regional variations, is a North African spice mix used in Lebanon, Syria, Israel and Jordan and is often used to season lamb. However, it can also be an excellent all-purpose flavor enhancer for rich fish, poultry, beef, lentils, tomato sauces, carrot salad and soups. Delicious as a rub for virtually anything on the grill, or add to a pan with a little butter to disperse flavors before sauteing.

Love the taste
I was a little skeptical when I read the description of the Baharat spice. This spice is great, it is both sweet and savory. I have used it in many different types of dishes. This spice has opened my eyes to different flavor and makes me want to experiment more.

Awesome taste!
I used this spice for chicken wings and I must say they were delicious. I do wish all the spices in the product were displayed. But overall happy with the product.

Savory Spice Mix, Versatile and Delicious
This Baharat mix is very versatile and useful for folks who love Mediterranean/Turkish/Moroccan type flavors. Excellent on chicken, fish, with shrimp, on hearty veggies, even in coconut milk curries with heartier meats like beef or pork. This mix can stand up to tomato-y sauces as well. Quickly becomes a go-to spice in the kitchen.
