Impossible to domesticate, rare white truffles are sniffed out by highly trained dogs belonging to solitary, secretive truffle culteurs. And while white truffles from the forests around Alba and central Italy can command up to $10,000 per pound (!), our extra-virgin olive oil infused with white truffles lets you enjoy their ethereal taste and aroma for considerably less. Use very sparingly over pasta, tomato-based sauces, sliced tomatoes and mozzarella and other fine cheeses such as Manchego and goat. Brush on grilled meats for a unique taste sensation.
