Sprouted brown rice can be used in a variety of recipes or any where you would normally use brown rice. Try it in a vegetable risotto with carrots, zucchini and green peas or in a savory Asian fried rice. It can also be ground into a naturally gluten free flour for making bread and other baked goods.
How to Prepare Sprouted Brown Rice: Even though sprouted brown rice is best when cooked in a rice cooker, it can also be made on the stovetop. 3 cups of cold water. Bring to a boil. Cover the pan with a tight-fitting lid, reduce the heat to simmer for approximately 30 minutes. (Do not remove the lid. The steam helps the cooking process.) Remove the lid and gently fluff with a fork.
