OliveNation Petite Crimson Lentils span in color from deep orange to red. Quick cooking, they're great for soups, salads, and side dishes. Petite Crimson Lentils can also be pureed to thicken soup. High in protein and fiber, they make a filling and tasty meal on their own or as part of a more complex dish. Petite Crimson Lentils are delicate, so be sure not to overcook them for best taste. This product is kosher and non-GMO.
Pick through lentils and rinse well. Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan and slowly stir in 1 cup of Petite Crimson Lentils. Reduce heat and simmer until lentils are cooked but firm. Drain and rinse with cold water. Season as needed.
Store in a cool, dry place.
