OliveNation Organic Cranberry Beans have a mild nutty flavor, similar to chestnuts. They are medium to large creamy-colored beans, with cranberry colored specks. However, once cooked, cranberry beans will lose their bright color and speckled appearance, taking on a tannish color. Like other beans and lentils, cranberry beans are an excellent source of protein and dietary fiber, as well as iron, magnesium and potassium.

This product is Certified Organic by Baystate Organic Certifiers. Buy organic beans and other other ingredients in bulk and get wholesale prices at OliveNation. Ideal for food service and restaurants.

How to Cook Organic Cranberry Beans
Also known as borlotti beans or romano beans, dried cranberry beans are often used in Italian, Portuguese, Turkish, and Greek cuisine. They can be cooked with garlic, herbs, in a tomato ragout to give them extra of flavor. After they have been soaked and cooked, you can serve lightly salted cranberry beans and chilled as nutritious snack. Try them along with olive oil, a little lemon juice, fresh herbs like rosemary and basil in a chilled salad. Garnish with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

    best beans

I have always known these as October beans. Creamy yet meaty. My favorite beans for soup beans w/cornbread. A great staple product for your pantry.
