Description

Long PepperOriginating in South East Asia, Long Pepper was the first pepper brought to the West. Currently grown in India, Indonesia, Bali and Thailand, the flavor of the Long Pepper tends to be more powerful than "regular" peppercorns. However, while it is spicy, it also produces very subtle yet noticeable sweet undertones which you won't find in other peppercorns. Try toasting whole to mellow the flavor and then grind it, or grind raw for a bright peppery POP!
