Chefs love its plain, mild flavor as it takes on the taste and color of added spices. There are countless ways to use Couscous. It is an excellent alternative to rice and other grains. Thicken soups, use Couscous in side dishes, chill it and top salads – the culinary possibilities are endless! The pasta is also delicious combined with colorful cooked vegetables – it makes a beautiful base for salmon.     We offer Traditional Couscous in 10lb, 25lb, and 50 lb bulk packages. Buying in those quantities is ideal for restaurants and other food services.   Basic Cooking Method Bring 1-1/4 cups water to a boil in medium saucepan with a pinch of salt (optional) and 1 tablespoon of butter or olive oil. Stir in 1 cup of couscous and turn off heat. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve.
