Concentrated Coconut Flavor - Recommended Usage:
- Substitute for Coconut Extract: In general, substitute 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of Coconut Super Flavor per 1 teaspoon of extract
- Candy Making: Use 1 ounce of flavoring per 10-lb batch
- Chocolate Making: Use 2.5 to 5 tsp coconut super flavor per 10-lb batch
- Baking: Start with 1/2 to 1 tsp for cakes and cookies, and adjust to taste
- Ice Cream & Frozen Dairy Desserts: Use 1/4 ounce per gallon of mix
- Beverages: Use 1/4 to 1/2 tsp per liter
Using Concentrated Coconut Flavor in Chocolates:
While our coconut super flavor contains no water or alcohol and will not cause chocolate to seize, it may cause chocolate to thicken. Thickening can be remedied it by adding 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of liquified cocoa butter or coconut oil per pound to thin and smooth the chocolate.
