This is a unique, aged Balsamic Vinegar very different from the other 'industrial' Balsamics from Modena: the grapes are exclusively from Modena; are cooked and then barrel-aged WITHOUT additives like caramel and wine vinegar; certified and approved as a Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena in blind taste tastes. We tasted the other Traditional Balsamic Vinegars in the market. This balsamic is in a league of its own. It earned the highest ratings by the Consortium of Balsamic Vinegar Producers of Modena.

Aged more than 24 Years - Drizzle on fruit and berries and/or hard cheeses like Parmigiano. A few drops on French Vanilla ice-cream makes a divine topping!

Aged 12-24 Years - Fabulous on aged cheeses like cheddar. Just a few drops on a simple risotto or a grilled steak changes the taste of the food into something sublime.

Strawberries and Balsamic Vinegar

Serves 4.
Prep: 10 min.

Ingredients:
30-36 medium size ripe strawberries
Aged Balsamic Vinegar (min. 12 years preferred)

Wash the strawberries. Arrange 7-9 strawberries per person in small glass bowls. Drizzle balsamic vinegar on each portion and serve.
