Just as their father, grandfather and great grandfathers did, Giorgio Nobile hand-picks every olive and then presses it the same day in the family mill in the center of the old feudal province of Rosolini.

In the small Sicilian village of Rosolini, the name Nobile is famous for two reasons: the production of high quality olive oil and for the family’s preservation of a Paleo-Christian Basilica, a treasure of great historic and archeological value that sits in the court in front of their Oil Mill. The Basilica’s image is featured on every bottle of Nobile olive oil. Entirely excavated, the Nobile family conserves and maintains the Basilica. Giorgio believes that like his olive oil, the preservation of the church is not just good for his family and his community, but for all.
