This passion for the land, good wine and olive oil inspired the Galardi brothers to acquire the estate of Tenuta di Poggiopiano back in 1935. Mauro picks his olives one by one, presses them on the same day and calls his extra-virgin olive oil “olive juice:” absolutely pure and organic with no additives or oxidants.
Welcome to Fattoria Poggiopiano
Fattoria di Poggiopiano sits in the hilltops of Fiesole, just 7 kilometers from Florence. Its 17 hectares (approx. 42 acres) look south over the picturesque Arno Valley.
In addition to producing the finest oils and wines, the Garaldi brother are known for their ingenious innovations and mechanical inventions. All of the farm’s machines and tools have been replaced according to their work philosophy: a respect for the environment, a desire to obtain the very best quality and the guarantee of strict hygiene in the transformation and preservation of their products.
