1 quart boiling water
4 tea bags
4 Wild Hibiscus Flowers in Rose Syrup and Hibiscus Flower Syrup to taste
2 Sprigs of Mint
1 Large jar or heat safe pitcher
Small Handful of rose petals (optional)
Pour the boiling water in a large jar or pitcher, along with the tea, mint sprigs and rose petals (if using). Let the tea steep for 8 minutes and allow it to cool to room temperature. Cover and place in the fridge to chill. When you are ready to drink the tea, place one Hibiscus Flower, ice cubes, and desired amount of Syrup in each of 4 tall glasses. Pour the tea into the prepared glasses through a sieve (to catch the leaves and petals).
Makes 1 quart.
