Red Wine Reduction Sauce for Steaks & More

Serves 4
Cook Time 5 minutes

Great accompaniment to steaks, lamb or other red meats.

2 T. Olive Oil
1 T. dried shallot
1 clove garlic, minced
3/4 cup dry red wine
2 tsp. chopped fresh rosemary
3/4 cup More Than Gourmet Red Wine sauce
salt and ground pepper

Heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté shallot for one minute. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add the wine, stirring and scraping any browned bits from bottom of pan. Add chopped rosemary. Simmer mixture until red wine has almost evaporated. Stir in the More than Gourmet Wine Sauce and season with salt and pepper. Bring to gentle simmer and cook for 2 minutes.
